Welcome
Rancho KnowBarriers was developed at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in 2003.
Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center has been one of America's rehabilitation leaders for more than half a century. In 2008, Rancho was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of "America's Best Hospitals" for Rehabilitation. Rancho was the only rehabilitation hospital in California or its neighboring states to be named to the Top 20 in the annual survey.
Rancho KnowBarriers can assist you in achieving any goal you identify that you believe will improve the quality of your life; ie greater independence with activities of daily living or mobility, use of assistive technology, driving, education, work, healthy relationship, parenting, establishing a peer support network, etc.

We believe that personal goals add to the quality of our lives. As individuals with disabilities, we have aspirations to fulfill. Sometimes after acquiring a disability, we find it more difficult to see the path to achieving those goals. However, when we embrace a KnowBarriers attitude, the barriers to our goals become challenges to overcome.
