I believe the most important ingredient to achieving a great quality life is to become comfortable with your disability. I've worked hard to be secure with who I and not allow people to define me based on my spinal card injury. Early in the adjustment process people will tell you, "things will get better". Things don’t just get better you have to make them better.
If you set goals, and educate yourself about the barriers that lay ahead, work hard and keep moving forward there will be no limits to your success. Fight On!
